Blackened Chicken Queso Loaded Fries

I love my rutabaga fries! They turn out so delicious in the air fryer and you can top them with whatever you are in the mood for!
Today I was in the mood for spicy chicken with warm gooey queso smothered on top. It is such a good combination. Well, let's be honest that any fries smothered in any type of melted cheese is a winner in my mind!

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 Microwave

Ingredients
  

  • 3 large Rutabaga
  • 6 oz Tyson Blackened Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Diced Onions
  • 6 tbsp Queso Blanco Dip
  • 3 tbsp Diced Green Onion

Instructions
 

  • Peel and cut up rutabaga into fry shapes
  • Season your fries with spicy seasoning of your choice (does not need to be spicy)
  • Air fry at 400 for 25 minutes (shaking them around several times throughout cooking cycle)
  • Caramelize your chopped onions in a small fry pan. I fry them on a high heat, once start to brown add a little bit of water, stir and repeat that process until it is all golden brown.
  • Once they are done, dump into a bowl
  • Add your blackened chicken to the air fryer at same 400 for 9 minutes
  • Pour your queso into a microwave safe bowl and heat up
  • When your chicken is done, cut into bit size pieces
  • Top your fries with the chicken, caramelized onions, drizzle the queso and top with green onions. ENJOY!
