Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddles
I love the McDonald’s McGriddle breakfast sandwiches but they have 17 Weight Watchers points in them. These only have 7!
I made these for my breakfast meal prep for the week. I am so excited to have these and make all my co-workers jealous. HA!
Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddles
I made these using my base baked oats recipe but added vanilla protein powder. These are so yummy and healthyish! Especially compared to the McDonalds ones that have 17 points! Mine only have 7 points!I made these for my meal prep this week and so excited for it!
Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Fry Pan
- 2 Round sandwich makers (see my pic) optional
- 1 Wire Baking Rack
Ingredients
Pancake McGriddles
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 30 gm Premier Protein Vanilla Powder
- 1/2 cup Egg Beaters
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Swerve Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Sandwich Filling
- 4 large Eggs
- 1/2 lb Turkey or Chicken Sausage (I used Jenny-O Turkey Sausage)
- 4 slices Velveeta
- 1/2 tbsp Sugar Free Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Blend up your pancake mix
- Heat your fry pan to medium and set in your circle sandwich makers (see pic) then spray them really well
- Pour your pancake mix 1/2 in each circle and lightly drizzle some of your maple syrup
- Once your pancake bubbles, slightly lift the circle to be sure liquid isn't coming out. If not, lift circle off then flip for another minute or two
- Set aside your cooked pancakes onto a wire rack, repeat the above for the rest
- Set your air fryer to 400
- Either mix your sausage or if it's like mine and already mixed, just for balls in your hands then squish down
- Cook your four sausage patties in the air fryer for 12 minutes, flipping half way
- Once your pancakes are done, fry up your eggs in the circles
- When everything is cooked, assemble to your liking
- I wrapped mine in foil since they are my meal prep!
Notes
