BBQ Chicken and Bacon Crunchwrap
HOLY CHICKEN this was so flavorful and SO delish! I am a huge BBQ chicken fan, how about you? I decided to add bacon and WOZERS did it level this bad boy up. The sweet and salty combination is perfection.
Did you know that the most bbq sauces can trace back their roots to the East Carolinas? I read that somewhere and I thank whomever is responsible for this! HA!
BBQ Chicken and Bacon Crunchwrap
I am obsessed with crunchwraps! The ideas are endless and you can go as crazy as I do with the fillings for these!I am a big BBQ fan no matter what it is on. I had leftover chicken so I decided to coat t with BBQ sauce, add bacon and then melted cheese. HELLO what's not to love?! I had myself at BBQ.
Equipment
- 1 Microwave
- 1 Fry Pan
- 1 Mixing Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 Cut da Carb Flatbread
- 8 oz Chopped Chicken Breast
- 6 tbsp GHughes BBQ Sauce (any sugar free)
- 1/2 cup Chopped Red Onion
- 1-1/2 cup Lite 3 Cheese Blend Shredded
- 4 tbsp Bacon Pieces/Bits (I use Kirkland brand)
- 1 I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray
Instructions
- Chop or shred leftover chicken
- Mix your chicken with BBQ sauce
- Chop up the red onion
- Warm up the bacon to get slightly crisp
- Lay out your flatbread
- Layer the middle of your flatbread with your ingredients starting and ending with ½ each of shredded cheese. This helps melt the cheese!
- Fold up like a present starting with the bottom of your flatbread, then the bottom left corner, side…etc. *See my Instagram Story Highlight for a how-to video!*
- Spray your folded side down with ICBINB and put in your frypan. Give it a couple minutes on level 7 (med/high) so it turns golden and crispy.
- Spray the top of your crunchwrap with ICBINB and flip.
- Once that side is golden, spray the sides and use your spatula to hold one side up and the your ICBINB bottle for the other side. Keep turning the wrap all around so it gets the sides golden.
- When done, place on a mat and cut in half then ENJOY!
- I dip mine in extra BBQ sauce.
