Chicken and Sausage Pasta
Me being the person who has never been a big pasta eater has turned into a big pasta eater! HA! With finding a delicious pasta lower in calories and Weight Watchers points, it has become easier and a lot of fun making delicious and different pasta dishes!
Don’t give up carbs when there is pasta such as Al Dente!!
Chicken and Sausage Pasta
This turned out AMAZING and definitely on the top of my favorite pastas I've made thus far! It has the perfect combination of delicious flavors! Best part is it's only 11 Weight Watchers points!
Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Patsa/Sauce Pan
- 1 Fry Pan
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Dry Pasta – Al Dente
- 4 oz Diced Chicken Breast
- 2 AmyLu Andouille Chicken Sausage (64gm link)
- 1 cup Spinach
- 2 mini Diced Sweet Red Pepper
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Plain Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup Vegetable or Chicken Stock
- 2 serving Dak's Original Red Seasoning
- 2 Wedge Light Laughing Cow Swiss Cheese
- 1/8 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Boil your pasta
- Air fry chicken at 400 for 9 minutes
- Cut up your sausage and fry in your fry pan
- Once both sausage and chicken are fully cooked, add the following to your fry pan: chicken, broth, almond milk, seasoning and cheese (leave some grated parmesan aside for topping)
- Once melted together, add spinach and sweet red peppers
- When your pasta is cooked, drain and add to your fry pan, mixing all together
- Add to your bowl and top with remaining parmesan, red pepper flakes and parsley (optional)
