Crispy Cheesy Onion Dogs

Who likes hot dogs? I certainly do, especially at picnics and baseball games! When I’m making them at home, I make them cheesy and crispy rather that using a bun. They are absolutely amazing this way and the best part is you save on points and calories!

Crispy Cheesy Onion Dogs

These cheesy dogs are one of my all time favorite recipes I’ve made and could eat them every day‼️ Trust me these will change your life as they have mine!👏🏼🔥

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 6 Light Hot Dog Franks
  • 2 Cut da Carb Flatbread
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 3 Velveeta Cheese

Instructions

  • Take your two flatbread and cut in four pieces. This will leave two small pieces to put away for another time.
  • Caramelize your onions in the fry pan.
  • Cook your hot dog franks in the air fryer at 375° for 4 minutes.
  • While your dogs are cooking, lay out each flatbread and put half a slice of cheese at the end closest to you.
  • At this point your dogs are probably done so take those out and set aside.
  • When your onions are done, divide them up evenly on top of each piece of cheese.
  • Turn your air fryer back on at 375°.
  • Add your hot dogs to each flatbread on top of the cheese and onions then roll up.
  • Place each in the air fryer and spray all around with light butter spray and cook away! Be sure to roll them around to get all sides crispy!
  • When done pull them out and cut in half if you wish! Serve with any side you want. I enjoy them with ketchup and mustard!

Notes

For TWO full hot dogs it’s 6 Weight Watchers points and for all SIX it’s 13.
