Pork and Apple Crunchwraps
HOLY PORK CHOPS this was amazing! There's something comforting to me about Pork with warm applesauce. Yes, this also reminds me of The Brady Brunch…some of you young'ns won't even know what that is. Boy do I feel old. Anyhoo…this may look like a hot mess but it was SO good and SO satisfying! If you are like me and love pork with applesauce then THIS is for you!
Equipment
- 1 Sous Vide
- 2 Fry Pan
Ingredients
- 1 Boneless Pork Chop (makes two wraps)
- 2 Cut da Carb Flatbread
- 1-1/2 cup Lite3 Cheese Blend Shredded
- 1 Apple of your choice (I use granny smith)
- 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
- 1 cup Unsweetened Applesauce for dipping
- 1 I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray
Instructions
- We bathed some pork chops in the sous vide at 135 for 2 hours. You can cook your pork any way you wish!
- When the pork is done, take it out so it can cool down. You don't want it to hot or your flatbread will tear.
- Caramelize your chopped onions in a small fry pan. I fry them on a high heat, once start to brown add a little bit of water, stir and repeat that process until it is all golden brown.
- Dice up your apple and set aside.
- Layout your flatbread
- Layer the middle of your flatbread with your ingredients; starting and ending with ½ each of shredded cheese. This helps melt the cheese!
- Fold up like a present starting with the bottom of your flatbread, then the bottom left corner, side…etc. *See my Instagram Story Highlight for a how-to video!*
- Spray your folded side down with ICBINB and put in your frypan. Give it a couple minutes on level 7 (med/high) so it turns golden and crispy.
- Spray the top of your crunchwrap with ICBINB and flip.
- Once that side is golden, spray the sides and use your spatula to hold one side up and the your ICBINB bottle for the other side. Keep turning the wrap all around so it gets the sides golden.
- When done, place on a mat and cut in half then ENJOY!
Notes
Total of 9 Weight Watchers points for EACH / half of the plate = 1 full crunchwrap.
