Polynesian Pork Pineapple Bowl

I love making pineapple bowls! Not only are they super cute, they serve as a perfect and delicious bowl for all kinds of delicious food.

We cook our shredded pork by putting a pork shoulder in the pressure cooker and pouring a beer over. I am NOT a beer fan but trust me this makes the pork so incredibly moist. You can use any kind of shredded pork, even buy it that way at the store!

Polynesian Pork Pineapple Bowl

Pineapple bowls are so much fun and look so adorable! You can put just about anything in these but the Polynesian shredded pork, rice and pineapple chunks is SO good!!
Servings 1

Equipment

  • 1 Pressure Cooker
  • 1 Rice Cooker
  • 1 Small Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz Shredded Pork Shoulder
  • 2/3 cup White Rice
  • 1 Pineapple
  • 3-1/2 tbsp GHughes Polynesian Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Put your pork shoulder in the pressure cooker and pour a beer over. Choose the meat/stew button (usually takes 90 minutes)
  • Cook a batch of rice in a rice cooker
  • Slice your pineapple in half long ways
  • Use a knife to slice out the pineapple to make a bowl
  • Cut up your pineapple you just scooped out into bite sizes
  • Once your pork is done, weigh out your portion, put into a small mixing bowl and stir in the sauce
  • Fill your pineapple with rice, pineapple bites and pork
