Teriyaki Chicken Pasta Bowl
There is just something incredible about teriyaki chicken take-out or order-in! It’s probably the amount of sugar they put in the sauce which is high in calories and WW points.
This Trader Joes Ming’s BBQ Chicken Teriyaki is seriously the BEST next to take-out. You wouldn’t even know the difference except it is better in points and calories! I cook mine in the air fryer which is just so easy and turns out delish!
Teriyaki Chicken Pasta Bowl
I was in the mood for teriyaki chicken and pasta so figured I would combine the two. This turned out DELISH and so darn easy!I'm obsessed with Al Dente Pasta as it is lower in points and carbs but still tastes just like normal pasta! I also am in love with this chicken. You just can't go wrong with this dish!
Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Pasta/Sauce Pan
Ingredients
- 2 cups Trader Joes Ming's BBQ Chicken Teriyaki
- 1 cup Al Dente Carba-Nada Fusilli Pasta – Dry
- 1 cup Spinach (optional or use broccoli)
- 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions
- 4 tsp White Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Boil your Pasta
- Place your sealed teriyaki packets in hot water (use microwave safe glass/cup) this will thaw them out while your food cooks!
- When your pasta is almost done, air fry chicken at 400 for 9 minutes
- Chop up your green onions and set aside
- Remove the stems off your spinach and place in a fry pan on medium heat to wilt slightly
- Open your teriyaki packets and heat in the microwave for 1 minute
- Drain your pasta then put it back into the pot
- Add to your pasta the spinach, cooked chicken, half green onions and teriyaki sauce then mix
- Pour into your serving bowl or bowls and top with green onions and sesame seeds
