Crispy Hot Honey Chicken Pasta
WARNING – this sauce is super addicting!! It is such an amazing flavor with the perfect sweet and spicy combo.
I am a HUGE fan of the Al Dente pasta which says a lot since I have never been a pasta lover. Hey if you make it cheesy and add some crazy stuff to it then I will love it!




Crispy Hot Honey Chicken Pasta
HOT HONEY! This may sound crazy but it's sooo delish! I just air fried some leftover cornflake crusted chicken that I had made for my meal preps this week and mixed with a delicious hot honey recipe I made!You can make this as sweet and as spicy as you wish! I like a kick to mine!
Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer
- 2 Sauce Pans
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Al Dente Fusili Pasta (Dry)
- 5 oz Chicken Breast (cut into chunks)
- 1/3 cup Cornflakes (crushed)
- 1 large Egg (whisked)
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 3/8 oz Grated Parmesan
- 2 wedges Laughing Cow White Cheddar
Hot Honey Sauce
- 1/4 cup Franks Hot Sauce
- 1/3 cup Wholesome Yum Honey Alternative
- 2 tbsp Swerve Brown Sugar Alternative
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
Instructions
- Dip your chicken chunks into the flour, then egg then cornflakes to coat
- Air fry chicken at 370 for 20 minutes (time may vary depending on air fryer). Flip and shake half way through!
- Boil your pasta (no need to add oil, just stir a few times and it won't stick)
- In your sauce pan, combine your hot honey sauce ingredients and cook on high until boils then turn down to simmer (be sure to whisk a few times)
- Once your pasta is done, drain out the water then put your pasta back into the pan
- Add your cheese wedges, most of your parmesan cheese and just a little bit of your hot honey sauce then mix
- When your chicken is cooked, dump into your sauce to fully coat
- Put your pasta into your serving bowl, add chicken on top, pour a little more sauce over if you have excess and top with parmesan cheese and cilantro flakes. Add red pepper flakes if you want more heat!
