If you love sweet heat meals that don’t get boring, these Honey Orange Habanero Chicken & Rice Bowls need to be on your weekly meal prep rotation. Juicy air-fried chicken thighs are glazed in a sticky honey orange habanero sauce, sliced for maximum flavor, and paired with fluffy rice and a refreshing pineapple cucumber salad that balances the heat perfectly.
This recipe is air fryer friendly, meal prep approved, and packed with bold flavor — without feeling heavy or repetitive by day four.

Why You’ll Love These Honey Orange Habanero Bowls
This is the kind of recipe that checks all the boxes:
- Sweet, citrusy, and spicy in every bite
- Air-fried for juicy chicken without extra oil
- Perfect for meal prep lunches or easy dinners
- Reheats beautifully (with a fresh element added after)
The honey orange habanero sauce brings bright citrus flavor up front, followed by a slow, warming heat from the habanero. It’s bold but balanced — not overpowering — and perfect over rice.
