Copycat In-N-Out Burger Bowl

I absolutely LOVE In-N-Out. Every time we go down to California, we stop there which is has only been a few times. This right here my friends is the BEST lightened version of the animal style sauce.

Instead of potato fries, I love making Rutabga fries. They are a vegetable so ZERO points and I have topped them with many different things! I highly recommend making these fries! Best of all though is this entire bowl of delicousness!

Copycat In-N-Out Burger Bowl

This lightened copycat version of the In-N-Out Animal Style burger and fries is TO DIE FOR!
If you have followed my Instagram for a while then you know how much I love rutabaga fries. I have made tons of different recipes using these. I love to top them with tons of different things like pizza, taco, burger and many more!

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 Fry Pan
  • 1 Small Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 7 oz 96/4% Ground Beef
  • 2 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp Minced Dried Onion
  • 1/2 cup Caramelized Onions
  • 2 Slices Velveeta Cheese
  • 1 Sliced Roma Tomato
  • 2 Large Rutabagas

Lightened up In-N-Out Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Light Mayo
  • 1/4 cup Fage 0% Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/8 cup Sugar Free Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1-1/2 tbsp Diced Dill Pickles
  • 1 tbsp Diced White Onion
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

Instructions
 

  • Peel Rutabagas and cut into fries
  • Drizzle Rutabaga Fries with EVOO and season with burger seasoning
  • Air Fry at 400 for 25 minutes, shaking multiple times
  • While your fries are cooking, caramelize your chopped onions in a small fry pan. I fry them on a high heat, once start to brown add a little bit of water, stir and repeat that process until it is all golden brown.
  • Mix your ground beef with mustard, minced onion and make a patty
  • Fry your beef patty in a sprayed fry pan, flipping half way through
  • Top with cheese to melt
  • Once you fries are done, place in a large bowl then top with your beef patty, onions, 2nd slice of cheese, animal style sauce and side of sliced tomato.

    1. Yes, you bet! Sweet potato fries are delicious with anything!! There are just points in them so be cautious of that.
