If there’s one thing I’ll never get tired of, it’s a good sweet heat combo—and these Sticky Hot Honey Chicken Meal Prep Bowls are exactly that. Juicy chicken glazed in hot honey sauce, fluffy rice, crunchy pickles, and a creamy sriracha mayo drizzle that pulls everything together. It’s bold, balanced, and honestly tastes like something you’d order… but better.
And if you’ve been following along, you know this fits right into my style of easy, high-protein comfort food that still feels like a treat while staying meal-prep friendly.

This is that perfect “meal prep but make it exciting” moment. The hot honey glaze soaks into the chicken just enough to keep it juicy, while the sesame seeds add that little crunch that makes every bite feel intentional. It’s simple ingredients, but the flavor hits way bigger than the effort.

I used Spanglish Pollo Asado seasoning to build that deep, smoky, citrusy flavor in the chicken—it gives you that restaurant-style taste with basically zero effort. It’s got the perfect balance of garlic, citrus, and savory spice that really works with the hot honey glaze without getting lost or overpowering it.

- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Rice Cooker
- 1 Fry Pan or Microwave (for corn)
- 2 Mixing bowls
- 4 Lunch Meal Containers
- 4 Condiment Containers
Ingredients
- 1.25 lbs Chicken Breast
- 8 tsp Pollo Asado Seasoning
- 2 cups Basmati Rice
- 1-1/2 cups Roasted Corn
- 1/2 cup ChocZero Hot Honey
- 1 tbsp Mikes Hot Honey
- 4 tbsp Sriracha Mayo (optional but so yummy)
Instructions
- Cut your chicken into bite size pieces then place in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix your seasoning with the chicken until all pieces are coated.
- Air fry chicken at 400 for 25 minutes. Flipping and moving chicken around several times throughout the cooking time.
- Heat up your rice.
- Heat up your corn. I use the Trader Joes frozen roasted corn which I pan fry to heat up.
- Once your rice is done, place in the middle of each of your meal containers.
- Measure out your corn and place next to the rice in each container then add your pickles.
- Once your chicken is done, place in a clean mixing bowl.
- Mix your two honeys and then pour over your chicken and mix really well.
- Add your chicken to your meal prep containers. Drizzle a little more honey and add lime wedge, green onions and sesame seeds.
- Add Siracha mayo to your condiment containers and place in each meal prep container.
- When reheating, remove pickles and sriracha. Add them back in and mix it all up!

If you don’t have it on hand, you can still get really close by mixing your own quick blend: garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and a squeeze of lime juice. Even a simple store-bought taco seasoning or fajita seasoning will still give you that bold, well-seasoned base that makes this bowl hit every time.

Wickles Pickles are hands-down my all-time favorite because they’re not just a pickle—they’re sweet, tangy, garlicky, and have just the right kick of heat that makes everything you add them to taste better. That bold flavor and crunch is what I love most, especially in meal prep bowls where they cut through richer sauces like hot honey or sriracha mayo and keep every bite balanced and exciting. If you want to save on points or keep things lighter, you can easily swap them out for dill pickle chips, which still give you that crisp, refreshing crunch without the sweetness—perfect when you want a cleaner, zero-point style add-in.

If you’re someone who gets bored with meal prep fast, this is the kind of recipe that keeps things interesting. You can switch up the veggies, adjust the heat level, or even lighten the base—but the hot honey + sriracha combo is what makes it unforgettable.

🥗 Final Thoughts + Make It Your Own
Meal prep doesn’t have to feel boring or repetitive, and this is exactly the kind of bowl that proves it. The combination of sweet hot honey chicken, crunchy toppings, and that creamy sriracha drizzle keeps every bite interesting from start to finish. It’s simple ingredients, but big flavor energy.
What I love most about recipes like this is how flexible they are. You can prep everything ahead of time, mix and match your toppings, or adjust the heat level depending on your mood. It’s one of those meals that works just as well for busy weekday lunches as it does for an easy dinner reset.
If you try these bowls, don’t be afraid to make them your own. Add more spice, swap the veggies, or keep it super simple—the base recipe is meant to be easy, fun, and customizable. And honestly, once you start building bowls like this at home, takeout starts to lose its appeal real quick.
