Cheeseburger Crunchwrap Sliders
As some of you know, cheeseburgers have been my favorite food since I was a kid. They are still my favorite to this day. I have no doubt that there is nothing that will ever come #1 ahead of them for me.
These slider crunchwraps are so good and lower in calories and points than using a hamburger bun. That’s a WIN WIN for me!
Cheeseburger Crunchwrap Sliders
I made the sliders for Football Sunday which was such a perfect lunch! I'm all about burgers…no matter the kind but my all time fav is a juicy bacon cheeseburger! Especially with the pink sauce! HA! Growing up, I always ordered a cheeseburger when we went out to a restaurant. No matter what type of restaurant I would always order one. I then would ask for the pink sauce which of course used to be 1000 island dressing. Nowadays there are tons of different special burger sauces and I love them all. This was delicious and I used a side of the Trader Joe's Magnifisauce which is a type of burger special sauce.
Equipment
- 2 Fry Pan
Ingredients
- 2 Cut da Carb Flatbread
- 12 oz 96/4% Ground Beef
- 1-1/2 cup Lite3 Cheese Blend Shredded
- 8 Slices Dill Pickles
- 1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Burger Sauce
- 1 I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray
Instructions
- Make 4 small burger patties – 3oz each; season any way you wish
- Pan fry to get a good crisp on each side and leave slightly pink in the middle unless you prefer cooked less or more. These were done more "well" than I prefer.
- While your burgers cook, chop up your tomatoes and pickles.
- Take your flatbread and cut in half short ways to make 4 pieces.
- Lay out your flatbread
- Layer the middle of your flatbread with your ingredients; starting and ending with ½ each of shredded cheese. This helps melt the cheese!
- Fold up like a present starting with the bottom of your flatbread, then the bottom left corner, side…etc. *See my Instagram Story Highlight for a how-to video!*
- Spray your folded side down with ICBINB and put in your frypan. Give it a couple minutes on level 7 (med/high) so it turns golden and crispy.
- Spray the top of your crunchwrap with ICBINB and flip.
- Once that side is golden, spray the sides and use your spatula to hold one side up and the your ICBINB bottle for the other side. Keep turning the wrap all around so it gets the sides golden.
- When done, place on a mat and cut in half then ENJOY!
